Hardwood forests, meadows, wetlands, and the French Creek are all jewels within Warwick Parks 535 acres. Warwick offers numerous trails and meadows that offer bountiful opportunities for hiking, biking, bird watching or bring your horse to ride.
In the 18th and 19th centuries, Warwicks woodlands provided much of the raw timber used to make charcoal for the regions iron furnaces and forges. Remains of the iron industry can still be seen at various charcoal hearths along old cart paths.
The day use area offers pavilions and playground areas. The Horse-Shoe Trail is 3.06 miles and passes east to west from Coventryville Road to Hill Road. It meanders along the scenic French Creek, through a historic forest, and into the day use area.
