Chester County History Center

The Chester County History Center tells the extraordinary stories of more than three centuries of regional history. Its rich collections encompass thousands of museum artifacts from fine and decorative arts to objects of daily life. Becoming Chester County, a new five-gallery core exhibit, offers insights into the evolution of the county and its unique character. Visible storage allows visitors to see in-depth collections and special exhibits continue to interpret important stories from the region’s past. One special exhibit, On the Trail of the Underground Railroad, gives visitors the opportunity to see permanent imagery that documents the courage of the many residents and freedom seekers who worked together for justice.
