Built in the Greek Revival style, with its triangular pediment, decorative “dentals” and classical columns, the First Presbyterian Church was a leader in promoting education in Phoenixville. The land upon which it was built was donated by the Phoenix Iron Company. The stained glass windows commemorate Phoenixville families, many of them related to the iron company.
